Note: This is not recommended if you are already using Universal Analytics, as data will only be sent to GA4 once you enable this option. Click here to learn about other options.
Follow Google’s instructions to create a new GA4 property, and make sure to choose ‘Web’ as the platform you want to use.
Enter your website URL, a stream name (e.g. your business or site name), and make sure to leave the ‘Enhanced measurement’ option enabled.
Close the installation instructions once completed to return to the stream details page. From this page, copy your ‘Measurement ID’ (example: G-ABCXYZ).
Head back to ThriveCart, and under your product settings, go to Checkout > Tracking.
Enable the ‘Google’ option, and enter the ‘Measurement ID’ from the previous step.
